Our Occupational Health Support programme focuses on 3 main areas of health for you and your employees:

Physical Health

We can offer the highest standards of Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy and 1:1 Strength & Conditioning in our Specialist Gym.

Whether your staff are suffering from desk-based ailments such as back and neck pain, or weekend sports injuries, we can offer the solution to get them back in action as soon as possible.

Our Strength & Conditioning gym is not just for improving sporting performance, we can also help improve functional occupational strength and flexibility for manual workers, posture for desk users, and aid an introduction to a more active lifestyle to improve general health and wellbeing.

Mental Health

We can offer Counselling and Psychotherapy to people of all ages with varying issues. We offer a positive platform for empowerment, positive change, and goal achievement in our counselling sessions.

Whether the issue is a work placed one, or an issue outside of work that is impacting on your employee at work, we can help them through this situation.

Nutrition

We can offer nutritional advice based upon individual client needs.

If you have employees who are forever yawning at the desk or are struggling with the energy required to do the physical demands of their job, it could be that they require an improved and adapted diet to help. This can help them loose weight, improve energy levels, improve sleep quality and boost immunity from illness.

Sessions can be offered during working hours, evenings, and weekends. We can offer video calls as appropriate for remote sessions.

Why is this necessary?

Sickness absence from work can hugely impact your company’s productivity as these UK 2020 figures from the Office of National Statistics show:

  • 118.6 millions days of employment were lost in the UK in 2020.
  • This equates to 3.6 days per employee.
  • 17.5% of these absences were due to Musculoskeletal Problems such as back pain, neck pain and upper limb disorders.
  • 13.4% of these absences were due to Mental Health Conditions such as stress, depression, and anxiety.
  • Most other causes of absence can be linked to poor diet/nutritional intake and a lack of exercise. Such conditions include colds/flus, migraines, blood pressure and Irritable Bowel Syndrome etc.

By supporting your staff to stay fit and well, you can reduce staff absence and in turn, improve productivity and staff happiness in the workplace.

More Information

There are no fixed monthly costs, it is purely a “pay as you go” service where we will invoice you for the sessions used.

All we ask is that you authorise each course of treatment before the employee starts their sessions with us. This will all be done via email with your Occupational Health Director or Manager as appropriate with the agreement that we have put in place. If more sessions are clinically required, we will request further authorisation for these before proceeding. If less sessions are required, you will only be invoiced for sessions used.

We record Outcome Measures specific to each type of health issue before, midway and at the end of a course of therapy. This can be used to demonstrate progression of the employees’ condition and health.
