DR RYAN HESP
Clinical Psychologist – BSc (Hons), MSc, DClinPsy, HCPC Registered
Ryan is an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working across NHS, private, and charitable services. He works with adults, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and health-related difficulties.

Clinical Psychologists are trained to understand the many factors that influence wellbeing, including life experiences, relationships, physical health, personality, and neurodiversity. Ryan’s experience spans mental health, physical health, neurorehabilitation, neurodiversity services, and inpatient and community care, allowing him to support people with a broad range of challenges and life circumstances.
His areas of interest include anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, ADHD, autism, persistent pain, long-term health conditions, brain injury, stroke, cognitive difficulties, self-esteem, and identity. He also has experience working with individuals affected by the criminal justice system, including those under investigation, survivors of crime, and family members impacted by these experiences.
Ryan takes a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, he works alongside clients to develop a shared understanding of their experiences and identify meaningful ways forward. His aim is to provide a safe and compassionate space where people can better understand themselves, overcome challenges, and build the life they want to live.
Whether someone is facing a specific psychological difficulty, adjusting to a life change, exploring neurodiversity, struggling within relationships, or simply feeling stuck, support is available.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, if you are curious about how therapy might help, please get in touch.
