JADE LEEDER

Jade graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2003. Having worked in the NHS, private practise and at Manchester City Football Academy, she moved to the English Institute of Sport in Manchester treating a wide variety of both Olympic and Commonwealth athletes.

These included GB cyclists, Taekwondo, Swimming, Track and Field, Hockey, England Football and Netball athletes under the tutoridge of some of the leading experts in both shoulder and knee injuries. In 2009, she took up the lead role for England squash ahead of the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Having completed a Masters in Sports Injury rehabilitation in 2011, she published some literature around sports specific injury screening and prevention which became an area of speciality for her.

Whilst working for England Squash, she had the opportunity to attend two Commonwealth Games as their lead Physiotherapist. Jade has become highly specialised in sports injury rehabilitation and acute injury management, predominantly around the pelvis and lower limb injuries.

Following her publications, Jade has also lectured at the University of Salford and presented on many courses. She has maintained a high level of continual professional development and undertaken numerous courses on treatment strategies and rehabilitation. She has also established close links with sports physicians and practitioners.

Having moved to Essex in 2016, Jade began working for Nuffield Health and as lead Physio for BSRFC. During this time she has expanded her knowledge of upper limb and shoulder rehabilitation as well as post-operative management. She is now based at Springfield Hospital as a senior Musculoskeletal Physio and in private practise with Shepherds’ Health.
